7 Stretches In 7 Minutes To Eliminate Back Pain

A common problem that affects most people at some point in their life is the back pain.  The causes, symptoms and severity of lower back pain vary greatly. Although it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the pain, most of the times it occurs as a result of:

  • driving or sitting in a hunched position or for long periods without taking a break

It can be difficult to be cheerful or optimistic if you are in pain, but doing the following 7 stretches can effectively eliminate back pain. Just stay positive because these easy stretches can help you recover faster.

1.The hamstring floor stretch

Hold one leg for 30 seconds, then switch it with the other one.

2. Knee to chest stretch
Knee to chest stretch.

Hold position for 30 seconds, then release. Switch legs and repeat once more.

3. Spinal stretch
Spinal stretch

Hold position for 20 seconds. Switch legs to repeat once more.

4. The piriformis stretch
 The piriformis stretch

Hold for 30 seconds. Then, switch legs.

5. The hip flexors stretch

Hold for 30 seconds and after that switch and repeat.

6. The quadriceps lying down stretch

Pull for 30 seconds then release. Switch sides and repeat once more.

You will need a chair. Place it as high as your hip in front of you and put your hands on it. Bend forward until your head is placed between your arms. Hold for 1 minute, then release.
