The amounts of ingredients used vary according to skin type. If you have sensitive skin, use the coconut oil and the baking soda in a 2:1 ratio, respectively. If you want to use the mixture as an exfoliator, prepare the mixture in a 1:1 ratio.

Instructions

  1. Put 2 tbsp of baking soda and pour it into a bowl.
  2. Add coconut oil to the bowl.
  3. Mix the two together well, mixing it into a paste. The mixture will be fairly thick, but will start to melt at room temperature.
  4. Wash your face, rubbing gently in circular movements. You can also leave the mixture on your face for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cool water.
